We have just concluded the 5th edition of our little around the world travel adventure competition known internationally as
The Global Scavenger Hunt™.

But before we get to that...due to a hligh level of interest from wanting travelers, we are pleased to annouce early that we have already set the dates for our next event! GreatEscape2010: The Global Scavenger Hunt is scheduled to take place between April 9th and May 1st, 2010...and we are now accepting online applications.

The past being prologue...between April 17th & May 9th, our Teams traveled from Seattle to Boston--the long way--visiting 10 countries across 4 continents trying their best at completing over 600 challenges while taking
A Blind Date With the World™!

We are pleased to have crowned the 2009 winners of
The World's Greatest Travelers™ trophy to
Zoe Littlepage and Rainey Booth!

Zoe & Rainey will be back in 2010 to defend their title
against all worthy travelers who dare challenge them.

for helping us help others by raising the most charitable funds during the course of our 2009 event. We also invite them back in 2010 to do it again! Psst...Sherry & Ken came in third and really wanted that crown/tiara...Thank you!

For those interesting in participating in 2010, The Global Scavenger Hunt is limited to just 25 two-person Teams...and unlike those drama-inducing, well-cast and oh so scripted reality TV shows, GreatEscape2010 considers all who apply on their true travel bona fides alone--there are no losers or elimination's on The Global Scavenger Hunt™.

Those travel savvy enough to make the cut will be participating in a real world travel adventure race from start to finish. They will be sight-doing not just passively sight-seeing, while accumulating points for completing a series of stimulating once-in-a-lifetime scavenges and participating in extraordinary real life cultural-oriented activities in extraordinary off-the-beaten path global travel destinations. This is not a tour in any way. This is not a prepackaged holiday. This not a sleep on the beach vacation. This not a simple whistle-stop visit to Europe's predictable capital cities staying in cheap hotels. The Global Scavenger Hunt is a true travel adventure competition that crowns The World's Greatest Travelers™.

And indeed everyone is a winner just by taking part, because participants are helping to raise money for some very worthy causes. The unofficial motto of our global travel adventure competition is to: "trust strangers in strange lands," and aside from challenging our travelers like never before, and having them meet people around the world in uncommon ways, the true goal of this event is to help raise our million dollar goal for some wonderful international humanitarian organizations.

 So all you true travel adventure enthusiasts, global jet-setters, Amazing Race-wannabes, and competitive tourists who might be interested in participating in a real life travel adventure designed for real travelers, our next annual global travel adventure event will be in the spring of 2010 (tba) and we urge you all to get the ball rolling ASAP as participation in our event is both limited and on a first come first serve basis...you may APPLY HERE for 2010!
